B0B0 est l'un des Doppelgangers, des jumeaux nés comme des êtres humains parfaits pour obéir à la caste à laquelle ils ont été assignés. Son objectif est de servir dans la caste la plus basse pour la prospérité de Saturne, mais B0B0 n'est pas tout à fait d'accord. Au milieu d'une révolution contre les satellites saturniens, la forme ultime de la loi, B0B0 trouve un robot musical perdu qui s'intégrera parfaitement dans son groupe illégal de batteur. La rébellion à travers la musique est tout ce qu'elle connaît, et un batteur est la pièce manquante de son ensemble de marginaux. Avec un équipage complet, elle veut enfreindre certaines lois et découvrir la vérité derrière l'essence de la musique : le Keylocker.
